Mother’s Day and I’m a mother. Did I get taken out for Mother’s day? No. I did eat out however. My family and I went to the mall. My daughter got some shoes, my son got a hair cut and I got stuck waiting for my husbands lunch to be prepared at the Orange Julius counter. The kids at Orange Julius wished me happy mothers day though, thanks guys!

Saturday I decided I was not going anywhere. Which eating at home is something different at least for lunch anyway. I scoured the kitchen for something quick (microwaveable), but found nothing. So I opted for the next best thing Macaroni and Cheese. Who doesn’t love macaroni and cheese? For that one person out there raising your hand –you’re an idiot!

I said it before and I’ll say it again– I try to stay away, but sometimes I just end up there. I had an errand to run to during my lunch break and the McDonalds was right there. What was I suppose to do? Well I tried something I hadn’t had in a while. When I was younger I would always get their fish filet sandwiches. Then they changed them and all they tasted like was salt, ew! But I was being brave and had one again. I guess they went back to the old style filet, because it was the one I remembered as a kid. If you want to know what kind of fish is in it I don’t know. I don’t know what kind of beef is in hamburger either so I’m going to go with ignorance is bliss.
